Kelsey L.
Kelsey first tried yoga as a complement to years of competitive softball, in search of both a way to finally touch her toes and another way to build strength that didn’t involve barbells. Vinyasa yoga proved to be just the ticket. Over the years, yoga has moved beyond the physical practice it originated as and into a much more connective, grounding activity. The space her yoga mat provides, the space of exploration and turning inward, has allowed for personal growth in so many ways. One aspect in particular, is connection to the present. Living in each moment and enjoying all the beauty it has to offer.
While not living in the present on her yoga mat, Kelsey is challenged by studies at NCNM (the National College of Natural Medicine) where she is in pursuit of a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Kelsey has a deep passion for the human body and such an appreciation for all that it does. Particularly with yoga, it is the flow of breath and strength of the body that keeps her captivated. Kelsey’s classes prove all of this with a blend of physical strength, breath, flow, connection and most importantly, mindfulness.
