Kelly Suttell
Kelly has been an avid athlete throughout her life, and believes that a physically active life is key to a long and healthy life. In 2004, Kelly started having chronic neck and back pain as a result of her high-impact sports and desk-job professional life. After countless MRIs and physical therapies, Kelly turned to hot yoga. Since then, yoga has become her main physical fitness activity, and a key contributor towards preventing acute neck and back pain.

Kelly has worked for various high-tech companies in the Northwest, but has also lived in Europe and traveled throughout the world. Throughout her travel experiences, Kelly recognized that people in countries with more of a work/life balance enjoy more happiness and productivity. Coincidentally, these were also countries that often had a bigger connection with spirituality, alternative medicine, and focused on preventative health practices. These travel experiences along with Kelly's family history of cancer has helped her embrace the additional non-physical gifts of yoga whole-heatedly. Kelly has been practicing yoga since 2004 and is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She hopes for a teaching style that is heart-felt, compassionate and caring, yet focused on anatomy, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
